A Partner Focused on Mutual Success
Our Experience:
We have considerable experience in managing a large scale deer and beef operation and are currently managing a large-scale dairy operation. Our expertise spans:
Practical farming skills, people management
Qualifications such as a Toyota Mechanic certification, a Bachelor of Agriculture from Lincoln, Primary ITO Level 5, and the Rabobank Farm Managers course.
We have a strong background in the fertiliser industry, agri-tech, and working across Canterbury and Otago.
We have had the opportunity to have full control of a large scale deer stud with responsibilities to exceed targets, financials, people management including health and safety, cropping and regrassing management, reporting to farm owners and board members and capital development.
Our Business Goals:
To secure a LOSM or Contract Milking role for the 2025/26 season.
50:50 sharemilking within 3 years on a 500+ cow farm.
Farm ownership between 10-15 years.
Being in the top 5% for profit/ha is our overlying business goal that we will strive to achieve within the dairy industry.
Why we are exploring farming partnerships:
We are wanting to increase our current equity to help us achieve our goal of farm ownership.
What we value would value most in a partnership:
A healthy partnership where we have similar values and have a deep understanding of each others' goals. Honesty, clear communication and the willingness to support one another to achieve both parties' goals. A successful partnership will see mutual benefits for both parties. We want to be challenged and we want to challenge the status quo. What actions would be necessary to deliver this:
Being clear on realistic goals and expectations for each party in the partnership. Involving industry professionals to challenge both parties and ensuring it is the right opportunity for both.
Why we would be a great partner:
We believe that a partnership with a like-minded business, one equally motivated to see its farm thrive, would result in mutual success. Our diverse skill set, strategic mindset, and hands-on experience equip us to contribute meaningfully to achieving shared farming goals. We are fully committed to being accountable, resourceful, and diligent in our efforts to ensure the success of the farm, its animals, and its people. We will always strive to out-think, out-work and out-care.
