Our experience:

I (Matt) have a Bachelor of Commerce in Agriculture, while my wife (Mel) has a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Finance.

I have been full time farming for 10 years with the last 8 with Craigmore, starting as a Farm Manager to overseeing two farms as a Business Manager. I also won the 2019 New Zealand Dairy Manager of the Year and have completed the Kelloggs Rural Leadership course and a High Performance Teams course started by Craigmore.

I have had the opportunity to have full control of two farms with accountability for KPI's, financials, capital development, health and safety, environment, people management and reporting to investors.

Our business goals:

• Secure farm ownership, or 50/50 share milking venture (1-2 years)

• Be able to buy a farm (10-20 years)
